About Web Design

Good-looking and functional websites go through a couple of different phases. Where through direct communication and back and forth sharing of ideas a real website can come from. This service is for you if you want a clean and modern design for your website where your company, it's values and it's presence will be tailored in a way that engages your users. All your ideas are welcome, and will be carried through the visual identity of your site. The design is not a single static mockup it is a personalized system with: layout, type scale, colour, and the states and interactions in between, so the built site matches the design instead of approximating it.

  • A Figma file organised as a system: type system, colors, spacing, components. That is what lets the site be built from it, and extended later by whoever works on it next, without guessing.

  • No, well you need to at least have an idea. Most people arrive with a problem and a rough idea, not a detailed brief. The first conversation exists to find that out, and I would rather hear an honest 'I do not know yet' than a direction invented to sound decisive.

  • Yes. Where it helps, I build an interactive prototype first so you can click through the real flows on a phone or a laptop. It catches the problems a static mockup hides, and it is far cheaper to change a prototype than a finished site.

  • Most of the time, I offer one round of revision where we go through the whole design, and that round is used so that if there are any issues with the design or you want a whole different direction, that is when you have. After that round, we can have smaller revisions to change minor things, but any major visual directions will result in an alteration of the agreed-upon fee.

  • I use Figma to create your design. For any assets needed and their creation, I will use either Affinity or Canva.

  • Yes, and that should be the starting point. If the brand itself needs work I will say so rather than quietly designing around it, and everything you tell me about your business goes into the design, not just the colors.
